On June 28, 2024, Taipei City Datong District Minsheng West Road Police Substation received a report from the public regarding a stolen bicycle. After reviewing surveillance footage, the police tracked down the suspect to an abandoned building near Qingbei Road where they found stolen items and the bike. The suspect was apprehended after attempting to escape and resist arrest. The police urge the public to securely lock their bicycles to prevent theft.
