According to reports, Kenny Atkinson, a former assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, is set to become the new head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers after the team parted ways with J.B. Bickerstaff following their playoff loss to the Boston Celtics. Atkinson, who previously coached the Brooklyn Nets, is in talks with the Cavaliers for a contract agreement, as revealed by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The team's next goal is reportedly to extend the contract of star player Donovan Mitchell.
