CBA Fails to Inform Regulators About Cash Access Fee Changes

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) did not inform either of the country's regulatory bodies before transferring over a million customers to new bank accounts, which has resulted in many customers incurring fees to access cash at branches. Reports indicated that both the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority have no record of any communication from CBA regarding this matter in 2024.
