The company, which offers software to car dealerships, reported that its core dealer management system and digital retailing solutions were restored after the incident. Extensive testing on other applications is ongoing, with updates provided as they are brought back online. The cyber incident occurred in the early hours, and some functions were restored by Wednesday afternoon. CDK Global was acquired by Brookfield Business Partners in 2022. Other automotive companies like Ford Motor, General Motors, and BMW are assessing the impact of the outage on their dealerships.
