The mayor emphasized that the reason why these social housing units are known as 'good residences' is because they are located in prime areas. The residences are designed with features such as an elevated garden track, parent-child facility, and public daycare center. The event included performances by cheerleading squads and a parade competition involving residents who have already moved in. Mayor Lu mentioned that the residences are strategically placed near the 30,000-ping Taichung Public Park as part of the city's efforts to construct quality social housing.
