Central and Southern Taiwan to Face Thunderstorms with High Temperatures up to 36 Degrees, Next Week's Weather to Transition to Summer Type

Taiwan's weather, influenced by southwest winds, will see sporadic brief showers in areas south of Miaoli, eastern mountainous regions, and outlying islands, with temperatures reaching 34-35 degrees today and possibly exceeding 36 degrees in the Eastern Taiwan region. Showers will persist over the weekend, gradually easing by next Monday (17) as the weather transitions to a summer pattern. Central Weather Bureau warns of possible thunderstorms in the northeast and mountainous areas today, with higher rain totals reported in southern regions. The weather will remain hot with temperatures ranging from 32 to 35 degrees. This weekend will continue to experience southwest winds, with the potential for short intense rainfall in southern regions. Gradually, from next Wednesday onwards, the weather pattern will shift to a more typical summer climate.
