On June 24, 2024, the Central Police Station's crime prevention and education team visited the Land Administration Office to show care and provide guidance. Recently, the Central Police Station received a case involving a senior citizen in his 60s who fell victim to a fraud scheme, resulting in an estimated loss of over ten million NT dollars. In response, the station, in collaboration with the Land Administration Office, has established an 'Anti-Fraud Internet' group to assist citizens in preventing property-related scams while transferring ownership. They highlighted common characteristics of fraud cases targeting elderly property owners and advised citizens to be vigilant and seek assistance from the authorities if they encounter suspicious scenarios.
