Caroline Pham, the acting chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has removed Marti Tracy, the head of human resources, who was investigating complaints against Pham for alleged workplace misconduct. Pham appointed Tanisha Cole Edmonds as the new HR head, defying Trump administration directives to place diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility staff on leave. Pham has faced allegations of creating a hostile work environment, which she and the CFTC have denied as unfounded attempts to distract from their mission.
