In the Nan Shan Life shareholders' meeting held today, small shareholders raised important questions regarding the planned timeline for IPO listing and dividend policy. Chairman Yin Chong-yao of Nan Shan Life stated that while going public is a significant goal in the future, adequate communication with stakeholders is necessary, resulting in no specific timeline currently. To comply with IFRS 17, the focus is currently on capital enhancement. Chairman Yin also mentioned that there are no plans for cash dividends this year among the top 6 insurance companies, with Nan Shan Life prioritizing capital enhancement in line with IFRS 17 and awaiting regulatory clarity for dividend distribution.
