During the review of the 'Public Officials Election and Recall Act' revision proposal at the Legislative Yuan's Internal Administration Committee, Blue members proposed to raise the recall threshold but faced obstruction by Green camp who occupied the chairman's platform, leading to a standstill of the meeting. Chairperson Kao Ching-sui announced to relocate the meeting to Room 101 in the Quintuple Building where the meeting continued. Kao criticized the Democratic Progressive Party for not allowing her to hold the meeting, accusing the meeting staff of being 'kidnapped' by the Greens. She declared the meeting adjourned and announced it would resume the following Monday.
