In Taiwan, the aging population poses challenges as suitable housing for healthy and semi-healthy elderly is limited, leading to a social crisis. Difficulties adjusting to communal living and inadequate services have been highlighted. As Taiwan heads towards becoming a super-aged society in 2025, with over 20% of the population being elderly, issues of living conditions and housing resilience for the elderly are becoming increasingly pressing.
