On July 3, 2024, during the summer vacation, Xitou Park in Nantou was crowded with about 8,000 visitors per day seeking relief from the heat. The park noticed an increase in trash volume and encountered issues with visitors entering a closed dangerous building area for photos, even climbing to the second floor for better views, posing a significant risk. Despite the lush greenery and cool temperatures of around 25 degrees Celsius in the wooded area, the surge in tourists has led to improper behavior and increased chaos, prompting park officials to enhance monitoring and guidance efforts.
