The Los Angeles Chargers have signed former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood, who was claimed by the Bears during the 2022 season but only played in four games with limited snaps. Leatherwood, a former first-round draft pick, was waived by the Raiders after starting all 17 games in his rookie season. Now, he aims to find a place with the Chargers under new head coach Jim Harbaugh, as the team also drafted Notre Dame tackle Joe Alt. Leatherwood did not play during the 2023 NFL season.
