Qapita, a Singapore-based equity management platform, secured $26.5 million in a Series B funding round led by Charles Schwab. This partnership introduces Schwab Private Issuer Equity Services, enhancing U.S. startups' capabilities to manage cap tables and stock plans. Founded in 2019, Qapita services around 2,700 companies in Southeast Asia and the U.S., including several unicorns in India. The funding will enable Qapita to expand its platform while strengthening its position against competitors like Carta.
