In Chengdu, Sichuan Province, mainland China, a construction site for Line 13 of the Chengdu Rail Transit encountered a road collapse measuring approximately 12 meters in the early morning of June 21, leading to the emergency evacuation of nearby residents. No casualties were reported. The incident was caused by the natural burst of two water pipes, leading to a road collapse near the Jinli West Road area. Traffic management measures were implemented, and the affected road section was temporarily closed. The construction site adopted a semi-covered excavation method, situated near the under-construction Xiaonan Street station of Line 13 of the Chengdu Metro.
