During a game against the Indiana Fever, Chicago Sky players, Chennedy Carter and Angel Reese, committed hard fouls on star rookie Caitlin Clark. Carter shoulder-checked Clark to the floor, leading to an away-from-the-ball foul, while Reese elbowed Clark during a rebound play. Despite Clark's acceptance of the physical play, the Fever held on to win 71-70, handing the Sky their fourth loss of the season. The incidents raised concerns about player safety and competitive sportsmanship.
