Chicony Electronics held a shareholders' meeting on June 14, 2024, announcing a dividend of NT$1.6 per share. The vice president, Lien Tzu-jui, mentioned that the Vietnam factory traditionally produced flywheels and die-cast products as semi-finished goods for Chicony Taiwan. With the operation of Johnson Health Tech's Vietnam factory, Chicony aims to supply magnetic control products for fitness equipment nearby. Chicony's Vietnam factory, spanning 30,000 square meters over two phases, focuses on production and leasing. Amidst a conservative outlook due to market factors, Chicony anticipates maintaining sales levels of commercial and home fitness components from the previous year, while also expanding their business as the agent for Curves women's fitness centers in Taiwan.
