Zhu Fenglian, during a routine press conference of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of China, refuted the recent attention on Chinese media intervention in Taiwan's political talk show production, labeling it as 'pure fabrication.' The reports claimed that Chinese state media were involved in producing political talk shows in Taiwan, with Xinhua News Agency's reporters highly involved in the topics and scripts, ensuring compliance with the Taiwan Affairs Office's requirements.
