China 中国 autos group 'strongly dissatisfied' with EU anti-subsidy tariffs

Reported about 1 year ago

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) expressed strong dissatisfaction towards the EU's proposed anti-subsidy tariffs on Chinese electric vehicle imports, criticizing the investigation for ignoring facts and preselecting results. The EU imposed provisional tariffs of up to 37.6%, aiming to prevent an influx of subsidized Chinese electric vehicles. CAAM described the tariffs as deeply regrettable and unacceptable, with a four-month window for intensive talks between the EU and China.
