China condemns Taiwan's raising of travel warning for mainland, Hong Kong and Macau

Reported 12 months ago

A spokesperson for China's Taiwan Affairs Office, Zhu Fenglian, criticized Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council for raising the travel alert for mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, stating that it obstructs normal cross-strait exchanges and threatens the interests of Taiwanese people. This move came after China issued strict measures against 'Taiwan independence' and Taiwan escalated travel warnings, with Zhu stating that Taiwan's actions tarnish China and manipulate Taiwanese people, damaging their rights and harming cross-strait relations.
