China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group faces the risk of losing assets such as land and equipment as local administrative bodies demand repayment of 1.9 billion yuan ($261.91 million) in subsidies. The company's EV unit disclosed that local authorities want Evergrande Automotive Holdings to terminate investment agreements and there's a possibility of compulsory land resumption for repayment. Additionally, Evergrande New Energy Vehicle (Tianjin) Co was ordered to rectify issues and halt production and sales of new energy passenger vehicles, with intentions to appeal and comply before the deadline.($1 = 7.2543 Chinese yuan renminbi)
