State Grid Corp. of China is set to significantly expand its electric vehicle supercharging network in Beijing, adding nine new stations in the latter half of the year, in response to increasing EV adoption. The current stations can support 700 cars daily, with charging times of about 10 minutes. This expansion is part of a broader trend, as the number of electric vehicle charging posts in China surged to 10 million, reflecting the growing shift away from gasoline consumption.
