Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) Minister Chiu Chui-cheng warned individuals planning to establish or participate in political parties to be cautious of not receiving commissions or financial support from foreign forces, as it could potentially violate the National Security Law and Anti-Infiltration Law. Recent reports indicate that China is attempting to organize Taiwanese artists and internet celebrities to form the 'Taiwan Solidarity Party' for the 2026 local elections. Minister Chiu emphasized the importance of not falling into traps set by the Chinese Communist Party and advised against engaging in activities that could violate national security laws.
