Taiwanese netizen 'Port King' revealed that the Chinese government invited 10 Taiwanese internet celebrities to visit China for free, suspecting Chinese intentions to use them for propaganda. The Taiwan Affairs Office responded by saying they welcome Port King to visit again, but cautioned against mislabeling, as support from both sides of the Strait may be lost. Port King's response was interpreted as a reference to the 'Feast at Hong Gate'. The Taiwan Affairs Office later reiterated this statement during a press conference.
