China sanctions Lockheed Martin over Taiwan arms sales

Reported about 1 year ago

China has imposed sanctions on Lockheed Martin Corp subsidiaries and senior executives over U.S. arms sales to Taiwan. The sanctions include freezing the property of Lockheed Martin's senior executives, including chairman James Donald Taiclet, and barring them from entering China. The companies on the sanction list include Lockheed Martin Missile System Integration Lab, Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories, and Lockheed Martin Ventures. These sanctions are part of China's ongoing efforts to pressure the U.S. to stop arms sales to Taiwan, which Beijing considers as part of its territory.
