China's State Administration of Science, Technology, and Industry for National Defense revealed plans for upcoming space missions at a press conference, including the successful Chang'e-6 lunar mission and future plans for Chang'e-7 and Chang'e-8 lunar explorers, as well as space exploration missions to Mars (Tianwen-3) and the Jupiter system (Tianwen-4) by around 2030. The projects aim to explore key scientific issues related to the origin and evolution of the solar system, the impact of asteroids and solar activities on Earth, and the search for extraterrestrial life.
