China will lower import tariffs on ethane and specific recycled copper and aluminium raw materials starting January 1, 2025, as part of its efforts to boost high-quality imports and promote green development. The Ministry of Finance announced the changes, which include reduced tariffs on 935 items and an increase on some commodities. Additionally, the China-Maldives Free Trade Agreement will also take effect on the same day.
