Chinese Enterprises Target European Cup Business Opportunities

Apart from football, Chinese enterprises are engaging in a battle throughout the European Cup. Familiar Chinese logos and advertising slogans such as Alipay, AliExpress, and vivo are displayed on screens surrounding the pitch. This year, the European Cup has five Chinese global partners out of thirteen total, including Alipay, AliExpress, BYD, Hisense, and vivo, marking the first time Chinese sponsors have occupied more than a third of the sponsorship slots. The European Cup, which opened on June 14 in Germany, is predicted by UEFA to attract approximately 5 billion global viewers, with around 3 million fans attending matches in Germany, creating significant business opportunities during the tournament period.
