Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers BYD, Geely, and SAIC have filed complaints against the European Union's import tariffs at the Court of Justice of the European Union, following the EU's enforcement of tariffs ranging from 17.0% to 35.3% after an anti-subsidy investigation. In addition to their challenges, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products has also lodged a complaint, urging negotiations between China and the EU to avoid tariffs. The cases are expected to focus on subsidy assessments and the Commission's decision-making process.
