According to media reports on June 25, a political talk show on a television station was interfered by the Chinese state media Xinhua News Agency, being highly involved from themes to scripts. The Xinhua News Agency reporter stationed in Taiwan, Zhao Bo, monitored the production of the political talk show, ensuring it met the requirements of the Taiwan Affairs Office. This interference included planning themes, discussion scripts, and even overseeing the recording studio to confirm compliance, which differs significantly from the practices of Taiwan media accustomed to press freedom.
