The Ministry of National Defense recently announced that in a 24-hour period, five military aircraft from across the strait crossed the median line, entering various regions of Taiwan and continuing activities around the Taiwan Strait. One instance had aircraft coming as close as 35 nautical miles to Eluanbi in Pingtung. Concerns arose as these incidents occurred frequently, with the ministry emphasizing measures in place for surveillance and response while urging the public to continue with their daily lives.
