During a large-scale air defense drill conducted by Taiwan's Air Force on June 20, the Ministry of National Defense reported that a total of 36 Chinese military aircrafts and 7 naval vessels were detected approaching various areas around Taiwan, significantly impacting Taiwan's airspace. The Chinese aircrafts displayed a surrounding pattern from the north, center, and south, with the closest approach being about 30 nautical miles from Tamsui. Additionally, a People's Liberation Army helicopter was observed in the waters off Pingtung, 95 nautical miles away. Taiwan's military closely monitored and responded to these activities using aircraft, naval vessels, and land-based missile systems.
