On June 9th, a mainland Chinese motorboat rushed into Tamsui River estuary and reached Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf, with the Coast Guard radar locking on at 6 nautical miles, raising concerns about defense blind spots. If the boat had made a right turn towards Tamsui River, what would have happened? The capital's defense hub sounded an alarm, not ruling out the possibility of a successful case of gray zone operation by the Chinese Communist Party.
