On June 25, 2024, Chinese official media has targeted Taiwan's TV political talk shows, actively participating in topics and scripts, with Xinhua News Agency reporters even present during the filming to ensure the programs meet China's Taiwan Affairs Office requirements. The National Communications Commission (NCC) has issued a warning, stating that if any TV station is found to be in violation, they could face a fine of up to 2 million yuan and have the program suspended. NCC is currently investigating further, emphasizing that broadcasting programs must adhere to legal regulations and factual reporting principles to avoid damaging public interests.
