The Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) in Taiwan responded to reports of Chinese state media journalists participating in Taiwanese TV political talk shows by stating they will collaborate with the Ministry of Culture and other relevant authorities to investigate the matter and take legal actions if necessary. MAC emphasized that Chinese media reporters must adhere to specific regulations when working in Taiwan and not engage in activities such as producing political talk shows. Meanwhile, China's Taiwan Affairs Office labeled the reports as false and attributed them to the Democratic Progressive Party's alleged manipulation, urging an end to actions harming cross-strait relations.
