On the afternoon of June 8, a drone from mainland China was reported to have flown over the waters near Kinmen and dropped political propaganda leaflets at the 'Tianxia No.1 Post' Ma Mountain Observation Station. According to ETtoday, a Douyin account named 'Zhongli Technology' live-streamed the drone dropping leaflets from Dadeng Island in Fujian to the Ma Mountain Observation Station, containing propaganda messages. The Kinmen County government and defense department are closely monitoring the situation. Responding at 8:45 pm, the Kinmen defense department stated they have taken appropriate countermeasures against the threat, maintaining vigilant monitoring of enemy threats and avoiding escalating tensions due to the mainland's actions.
