Shanahan mentioned that McCaffrey's absence, along with receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings, is voluntary, and it is unclear if it's contract-related. Despite McCaffrey's upcoming wedding, Shanahan did not attribute his absence to that reason.
