San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey did not attend the start of OTAs, with his absence reportedly not being related to his contract. However, his contract is seen as problematic with him making $11.8 million this year, less than other offensive players on the team despite his significant contributions. While the issue is not pressing currently, it may become a concern as the start of the season approaches.
