Chubb Ltd. is set to acquire Liberty Mutual Holding Co.'s insurance businesses in Thailand and Vietnam, enhancing its foothold in Southeast Asia. The deal includes LMG Insurance in Thailand and Liberty Insurance in Vietnam, comprising 56 distribution branches and 2,600 partners, generating approximately $275 million in net premiums in 2024. Completion of the transactions is anticipated in the second quarter of 2025 for Thailand, and either late this year or early next year for Vietnam, subject to regulatory approvals.
