Several citizen groups called for a return to the Legislative Yuan to protest against parliamentary overreach. The revision of the 'Legislative Yuan Exercise of Authority Act,' promoted under the banner of 'Parliament Reform,' is criticized for its unconstitutional power-grabbing content. While the Administrative Yuan has submitted a reconsideration case, various civic organizations have launched street activities opposing parliament's abuse of power. However, one citizen group pointed out unreasonable demands from the Taipei City Police when applying for road rights, questioning whether it was police obstruction, Mayor Chiang Wan-an's, or the Kuomintang's obstruction. The Taipei City Police responded to the issue, stating they aim to assist in the smooth conduct of the protest and ensure freedom of speech while minimizing the impact on residents' daily lives.
