The Legislative Yuan recently passed the third reading of the parliamentary reform bill, sparking controversy. Various citizen groups including the Taiwan Civil Front and Economic Democracy Union announced the start of the second phase of action outside the Legislative Yuan, organizing medium-sized outdoor gatherings in Banqiao, Tamsui, Keelung, and Xindian from June 14 to 16 and on the 18th evening under the theme 'Citizens Against Parliamentary Overreach, Rejecting Democratic Backsliding.' They invite Nationalist Party legislators Yeh Yu-lan, Hong Meng-kai, Lin Pei-hsiang, and Lo Ming-tsai to dialogue with the public on-site. This movement aims to pressure the Blue camp ahead of the Parliamentary revision and engage with voters to potentially influence voting tendencies.
