During the Danshui Qing Shui Zushi parade, considered one of the top three temple procession activities in northern Taiwan, a conflict erupted between two spectators on the roadside, leading to a verbal dispute due to alcohol consumption. The temple procession group intervened to mediate while local police promptly dispatched rapid response forces to the scene, resolving the situation without further escalation. The Danshui Police Department emphasized maintaining social order during temple activities and enforcing the law firmly to safeguard order and public safety.
