Reported 8 months ago

Green Light Theatre held a press conference today announcing the return and upgrade of the national drama 'Human Condition I,' a classic work created by writer and director Wu Nianzhen, which has been an annual theater event in Taiwan since its premiere in 1999. The re-enactment will tour Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Taichung from August 16 to October 12, with a slogan 'Return to Humanity, Giving You 30 Million,' aiming to ignite a new wave of enthusiasm among the audience. The play tells the story of a Taiwanese family, where a 16-year-old girl feels unnoticed, and her grandfather fantasizes about making it big while her mother is immersed in TV dramas, leading to misunderstandings and chaos until one day when her deceased grandmother possesses her to fulfill a wish. The series of performances of 'Human Condition' has attracted over 600,000 viewers and has been hailed as a 'national drama.'
