On July 5, 2024, at 6:41 PM, a 30-year-old young man in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis two years ago, faced a home filled with hoarded items due to his shopping-loving mother. After his mother's recent passing, the young man sought Tzu Chi volunteers to help clean up, and more than seventy volunteers participated. The clean-up relieved the man, who had spent half his life amidst the clutter. Seeing his challenging situation, the community mobilized to assist, highlighting the importance of community support in difficult times.
