In a heart-stopping moment, an elderly man on a motorcycle got stuck while crossing a railroad crossing, narrowly avoiding being hit by a commuter train. The incident occurred on the evening of July 6 when the man's motorcycle malfunctioned at the crossing, triggering the barriers to come down. Thanks to the swift response of the approaching train and station personnel, a potentially dangerous situation was averted. Taiwan Railways plans to penalize the motorcyclist for his violation and stresses the importance of road safety measures to prevent such incidents.
