Tainan Zhen Shan Mei Theater, which cost 120 million to build in 2018, announced its closure on August 1st, due to various environmental factors, leaving Tainan with one less cinema after the end of summer vacation. Fans expressed sadness as it was the only place where they could watch art films, with a cultural and retro style that will be dearly missed.
