Less than two weeks away from the first presidential debate of this year's U.S. election, in order to prevent a repeat of the chaotic scene where Trump and Biden argued on stage in 2020, host TV station CNN has introduced strict control measures, including the 'forced mic muting' rule, prohibiting both candidates from bringing props or cheat sheets on stage, and disallowing interactions with their staff. Moreover, there will be no live audience at the event, distinctly different from previous debates.
