Cohen & Steers reported an increase in assets under management (AUM) to $80.5 billion as of May 31, 2024, with a growth of 4.3% from the previous month driven by market appreciation of $3.6 billion. Institutional accounts reached $32.1 billion, closed-end funds were $11.1 billion, and open-end funds were $37.3 billion. Despite a solid AUM balance supporting revenue, challenges in the operating environment may pose near-term financial risks. Cohen & Steers shares have gained 16.5% in the past year, underperforming the industry's growth of 26.5%.
