On July 4, 2024, a total of 305 aircraft models ranging from World War I vintage planes to rare colorful warplanes and various models of Republic of China Air Force were showcased at the Rainbow Model Association's 35th-anniversary exhibition in Changhua. The exhibition, held from July 3 to August 26 at the Changhua City Library, was inaugurated by the Mayor Lin Shih-hsien emphasizing the aerospace industry in Changhua and encouraging children to visit the exhibition to nurture interest in aerospace. The exhibition featured remarkable works by the association's members, promoting aviation education and static model making. Displaying various military and civilian aircraft models as well as sci-fi creations, the exhibition aimed to educate visitors on aviation science and model making while providing enjoyment and knowledge about aviation defense. This was the first exhibition post-pandemic in 2024, showcasing 305 exquisite pieces by association members, including detailed handcrafted models by a member with over 60 years of modeling experience, rare colorful warplanes, and impressive World War I vintage aircraft replicas. The event successfully downsized human technological achievements into tangible miniature models, offering an enriching experience for attendees of all ages.
