E-commerce leader PChome (8044) announced a 13% YoY drop in May revenue and a 6% cumulative decline, while competitor momo Fubon Media (8454) achieved a historical high with a 4% YoY increase in revenue for the first 5 months of the year, attributed to events like Mother's Day. Xinxin Net (2949) also maintained high revenue levels in May. PChome's May revenue was 27.67 billion NTD, down 13.75% from the same period last year, totaling 151.65 billion NTD for Jan-May, a 6.33% drop. In comparison, momo's May revenue was around 8.98 billion NTD, with a 4.56% YoY increase in Jan-May revenue, setting a new record. Expectations remain optimistic for momo's business performance, benefiting from events like Mother's Day and the upcoming shopping festival 618, while Xinxin Net's revenue also saw growth due to digital marketing and e-commerce operations.
